Communication
Phones are the main way people in Brazil communicate. Everybody keeps in contact via telephone. In Brazil the streets are filled with public telephones. Another way people keep in touch is by Internet. In Brazil, the locals go to Internet cafes were they would have computers set up already and charge by the hour. Places like this are fund everywhere, including at certain McDonald's.Learning
Learning in Brazil is very similar to here in the US. Schools start at 1st to 8Th grade and it is mandatory. After that the students go to High School, 3-4 years. After that they go to College or a University for 4 to 5 years. Teachers are mostly females and are not paid very well.Conflict
In Brazil people don't fight they like to talk things their problems out, but if you really piss off a Brazilian be prepared to get your ass beat. Some Brazilians have this thing, martial arts like called Capoeira. Capoeira is an African-Brazilian fight dance. Not really a conflict thing. I just thought it was cool.Health
Health is a big issue in Brazil. High technology private care is available to the rich and inadequate public care to the poor. Limited financial resources have been over concentrated on health care in the hospital sector and health professionals are generally inappropriately trained to meet the needs of the community. In Brazil there is a very huge problem with kids that are deserted at birth and raised in the streets with no parents no homes. They are called favela kids, and they roam around the streets looking for food, playing with the other kids. The name evolved because favelas is the name for a ghetto in Brazil.Favelas
